Using Publisher to complete the InDesign Hanging Indents assignment.

Directions

  1. Open Publisher_InDesign2-8file.pub and save it as Hanging Indents.
  2. Select the four paragraphs of body copy and change the first line indent to 0.
  3. Change the left indent 2in. and the right indent to 0.5in
  4. Add a 1/3  inch space after each paragraph (go to Format, paragraph, space after and type 0.3in)
  5. Type -1.5in for the First line left indent text box for the entire body copy.
  6. Make the entire body copy force justified. (use the justified alignment on your formatting toolbar)
  7. Save your work, deselect all, compare your screen to Figure 48 on page 2-35.
  8. Print your HangingIndents.pub file as a PDF and submit your work to the WebTycho portfolio for grading (as a Publisher file and as a PDF)
