Biography

 

Wendy Hume has been teaching writing and computer applications courses for UMUC since March 1997: first in Central Germany and then in Adelphi and Southern Maryland.

She received her formal education from Chadron State College in Chadron, Nebraska where she earned a bachelor's degree in English with a minor in Business Administration in 1992 and a master's degree in Education in 1995.

She teaches varied classes including Business Communications, Technical Writing, Web Page Design, and Programming with JavaScript.

On a personal note, Wendy is married and has a daughter who attends the University of South Carolina and two step-children attending the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. However, most of her time is spent waiting on her two Siberian Huskies--Shadow and Java--and her rescued 10-year-old Great Dane, Max.
