Traditional wrist
support helps keep the bowler's wrist in an
"in-line" position as well as provide firm support for a bowler who
has a consistent and control roll [4] .
Traditional wrist supports comes
in either vinyl or leather with an imbedded mental inserted for additional
strength.
Extended wrist support
has an extended length over the
forearm and/or fingers. The wrist support helps keep either the
finger or fingers from bending backwards while releasing the ball
as well as add lift and rotation on the ball.
Finally, a wrist
glove provides support on the bowler's wrist. The surface on the
fingers and palms allows the bowler to have additional gripping power
on the ball.
