Currently, I'm an
undergraduate student, in my junior year, at
University of Maryland University College
working towards my Bachelor's of Science degree in Information Systems
Management and Computer Studies. I expect to complete my studies in
Fall 1999. In June 1996, I was hired as an Information Technology Programmer (ITP) with the Center for Satellite and Hybrid Communication Networks (CSHCN) at the University of Maryland . My responsibilities involve designing and maintaining the Center's webpage as well as developing asychronous learning courses via the Internet for Industry and students. In addition, I keep abrust of the latest multimedia technologies, such as software applications inconjunction with the Center's hardware capabilities. Prior to joining the CSHCN, I spent eight years as a Scientific Word Processing Operator with the Institute for Systems Research (ISR) supporting three Electrical Engineering Faculty Members.
I developed and designed this "Bowling Equipment" website for a research net assignment in CAPP386, The Internet: An Advance Guide during the Fall Semester 1997. The course is taught by Professor Ferd Lazarus at University of Maryland University College. The research assignment consist of writing a research paper and making the research paper into a series of Web Pages.
I chose the topic "Bowling Equipment" because I enjoy the sport of bowling and have been bowling for over 15 years. In the last two years I have taken the sport seriously and have upgraded my bowling equipment with the lastest technology. (My personal equipment is shown on the Conclusion page). During this time, I realized that being equipped with the right arsental had a tremendeious impack on my bowling average.
In today's age,
bowling equipment changes just like the information age. Therefore,
a serious bowler
must keep up with the latest bowling equipment. Since I have upgraded
my bowling equipment, I am presently carrying a 180 average in a
scratch league (which is prodominantly men) at Crofton Bowling Center
in Crofton Maryland. My favorite ball in my aresental that I love
kicking butt is my Zone DZ which is shown to the left. With the
right lane conditions, I can be a dangereous bowler. So look out!!!
