Starting here a new chapter of her life in St.Paul's boarding school, Candy felt extremely suffocated by the infinite rules and regulations imposed upon her as a student. In such circumstances Candy started feeling an odd attraction towards a rebel named Terry, whose face resembled very much of Anthony.
As the May Festival arrived, Candy was sentenced to an inevitable punishment in the "remorse chamber" and was prohibited in participating in the long-awaited festive event.
Candy: But I...I've already invited Uncle William...it was so hard to invite him to come...If only I could ask for Sister Gray's forgiveness...then...
Candy: No, I am right and she is wrong. How could she treat animals just like that! Albert may come, but...Uncle William...I want to show him that I'm worthy to be a Lady Audrey, but when he finds out that I was...what shall I do???
The little turtle was awake.

As Candy was leaving through the broken window, a man suddenly appear and approached her. It was a carriage driver.
Man: Miss, you look like you live in the mountains.
Candy: Yeah, I've escaped from prison!
Man: Ha??? From prison???
The man thought "She's such a nice girl!? Is she capable of committing a crime??" (The driver didn't ask Candy to pay him because he really thought that Candy escaped from prison.
Candy went to meet Albert. But as she called out for him, she also saw Terry.
Albert: Ha! So there are two delinquent students who escaped from school! You two know each other?
Candy: We...we're classmates...
Terry: You're still the same old Candy that I knew! Even sneaking out late at night!
Candy: I...I...went out because Terry was injured, you know...
Terry: Yeah, If it weren't for Candy's help, I wouldn't have recovered so easily.
Candy looks at Terry, "Terry's different. He's smiling...unlike the Terry from last night.
Albert: Candy, why are you here?
Candy: Ah...yes, it's because of Patty's turtle, Pili. He's my bestfriend's friend!

Candy feels Terry is beginning to trust her.
Candy: I won't tell anyone about you and Elinor Baker.
Terry: Say, why are you here?
Candy: I was punished and I was told to stay in the attic.
Terry: What?
Candy: It's because...
And Candy explained her situation to Terry.
Terry: You did what? Hahahaahaa...you called her an old hag! Nice one, Candy!
Candy: What's so funny about that! I can't come to the May festival because of that! I think it would have been fun! There will be lots of flowers, dances, candies...Oh yeah! Not to mention big cakes!
Candy: Yeah,...it's a pity that I can't come...and I've already invited Uncle William and Albert...
Terry is curious.
Terry: WHAT is your relationship with Albert?
Candy: Ah, I met him in America...he...he saved me when I worked as a stable girl and ran away (the river). When I'm lonely or when I'm down, he'd always be there to cheer me up!

Terry: What kind of a man is he?...taking care of his beloved flowers...ha! I think he's weak and acts like a girl!
Candy: TERRY! You're so rude! Anthony's very brave! He's very strong!
Terry: OH! is that so! So how's Mr. Rose(Anthony) doing right now? Has he abandoned you because of his precious roses? What's that expression on your face! So Mr. Rose is in America!
Candy: Anthony...Anthony died...he fell off a horse...
Terry is silent..."Anthony died...so that means, the night Candy fell from the stairs, she was thinking about him...she's afraid of horses...Candy, do you really like him that much?!" Now that's pathetic! You'd better pray for him to rest in peace!
Candy: Terry, you're so rude! I won't forgive you for this! Terry!
Candy is very angry. She won't forgive Terry, for saying that Anthony is a weakling...why did she suddenly started talking about these things with Terry?
Albert returns.
Albert: Candy? What happened? Terry went home already?
Candy: Um...that no good delinquent!
Albert smiles.
Albert: He doesn't look like a bad guy at all...he even came here today to thank me!
Candy: Well, in my opinion, he's no good at all!
Albert: Did you have a fight..Alright..alright...let Popi cheer you up! Popi's very healthy!
Candy: Albert, have you received my invitation?
Albert: Popi's a big girl now!
Candy: (So Popi the skunk is actually a girl)
Albert: May festival? I will definitely come! I already asked a friend to lend me his suit!

Patty went to visit Candy and gave her a present...a gift from Uncle William!! The letter says that he (Uncle William) will not be able to come because of business matters. He sends a gift instead. It's a costume of Romeo and Juliet. He hopes that Candy will be a very fine young lady someday! But Candy wonders why Uncle William gave him the Romeo and Juliet costumes! Mmmm...maybe he's so old that he forgot if she's a boy or a girl??
Candy: I know,...this would be fun! I could disguise myself as a boy wearing this Romeo costume!
Terry attended the festival. He's been studying at St. Paul for a long time now. Terry has a reputation as a trouble-maker and everybody knows him. They are all wondering why he'd come.
Terry: I thought Candy would escape to come to the festival...Mmm...it's impossible for Candy not to enjoy this stuff...Where is she? I cannot put myself at ease...*smile* Freckled Candy...it seems that you have already captured my heart..
Suddenly Lisa appears.
Lisa: Umm...Terry, will you dance with me?
Terry: Oh, sorry but I always step on my partner's foot when dancing and I don't want to hurt a lady like you,...okay, see ya!

Candy danced with Annie disguised as Romeo. Annie begged Candy not to steal Archie away from him. Candy said that it'll never happen and she said that Archie likes her very much. They dance for a while reminiscing those times they've spent together at Pony's Home.
Stear said that he wanted to dance with Juliet. Candy said okay and she went to the woods to change.
As she was changing, she heard something.
Terry: Let's go!!!! Princess Juliet, you're so happy today! So a monkey wears clothes, huh?
Candy: Te..rry...Terry you saw me change my clothes??!!
Terry: Don't worry, I didn't see anything...
Suddenly, music plays in the background. Candy remembers it to be the same music back when she was with Anthony...

Annie can't help worrying about her chances with Archie. Archie has a major crush on Candy. Annie recalled the first time she met Archie. That was on a tea party. Meanwhile, Candy stepped on Neil's foot as they were dancing.

On the holiday , Candy, Anny, Patty, Stear and Archie went to Scotland. There was a parade of some sort when they arrived. The men's uniforms reminded Candy of her Prince.
Candy went to Terry's villa and she was surprised to see how big it is. But then, she heard some shoutings.

Woman: Terry!
Candy: (Elinor Baker?? What is happening here? Why is Terry so upset to see her mother?? What did Elinor Baker do to him that hurts him so much?)
Candy: What's wrong...Terrence Granchester.
Terry: How nice to hear my name! So, you always think a lot about me, huh?
Candy: (Terry's a different person now...he's smiling..)
Terry's holding a book - Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. It seems that Terry has the talent in acting (well, like his mother). This is the first time I saw Terry so dedicated...Liza was having her boat ride with his brother Neil and she saw Candy and Terry up on the small hill and got jealous.
Liza: Candy's there with Terry!

Terry: I never thought that these woods had a monkey! So, aren't you going to the party?
Candy: Of course not, how could they ever possibly invite me.
Terry: Well, in that case, I won't go either.
Candy: Really?!
Terry: Don't get too excited about it. My house's big and full of ghosts!
At the tea party...
Liza: (Why hasn't Terry arrived yet? Maybe, he's not feeling well, then I should...)
Terry's house is very big.

Granchester, Terry's father, came to visit him when he heard the news that Elinor Baker came to see him, and he welcomed him. Granchester said that he will not allow Terry to see Elinor again.

Terry: You have loved that woman before!
Granchester: That's all in the past! You are a Granchester and you have to think first before doing anything.

Granchester: Don't ever meet Elinor again or this will end our relationship as father and son!

Candy's prayers were answered, but instead of Uncle William's letter, Albert's letter came to her. Albert said that he's in Africa taking care of sick people and animals. He said that Africa is a vast land and it is very beautiful. He also mentioned that he has an assistant nurse who reminds him of Candy.
Nurse who looks like Candy?
Candy: (Albert's pretty far away..This is how Albert lives his life...)
Liza is looking out a window and sees Candy running into the woods.
Liza: (Candy's always going there after clas...)
Candy: Hear the harmonica. That was good! I give an A for that!
Terry: A nurse who looks like Candy? I wonder what she's like?
Candy: Of course, one who looks like this. Candy makes a funny face.
Terry: (laugh) With a funny looking nose, freckled face...
Candy: Ha! She must be a very good nurse indeed!

While Terry was riding his horse, someone blocked his way...LIZA!
Liza tried to brainwash Terry by destroying Candy's reputation. Saying that she's a number one thief and a troublemaker plus a stable girl.
Terry: Thanks for your help. Sorry, but those things won't work with me. I'm a smoker and a drunkard. I've ten records of bullying and so many records of school violation. We can say that I'm very much a delinquent too! Look yourself in the mirror and look who's talking!

Liza is enraged.
Candy and Terry both received a letter. Terry thought Candy was the one who wrote the letter saying that she wanted to meet Terry in the stable at midnight for something important. Candy, on the other hand, thought it was Terry who wrote the letter. Both of them came to the stables at night and were surprised to know that they didn't write either of the letters sent.
Then they heard someone outside. It was Sister Gray! How did she know?!
Gray: W...what is this! I never thought you'll do such a thing like this!
It was Liza! Liza wrote the letters.
Liza: Huh! So those rumors were true after all! I heard that you two always met here every night!
Candy: Liza, it was you!
Terry: (A trap! We both have fallen into a trap!)
Candy was immediately sent to the school's dungeon.
Candy: (It seems like there are bones buried here...sister...)
Gray: I'll expel Candy from this school and I'll inform her guardian immediately!
Candy: Terry!
Terry: Candy!

Meanwhile, Terry was not locked up in some "school's dungeon", but was only asked to stay inside his room. (Probably because his father donates a lot of money for the school.)

Stear: I thought you were a good person, but I was wrong...

Terry showed the letter to them and they immediately recognized Liza's handwriting. Then Terry asked them to leave.
Archie: How could you just stand there feeling nothing at all!
Terry: Nothing...!?
Stear: Candy is a very good person and I always wanted her to be happy...and you should think like that too.
Archie and Stear also told Terry about the things Candy had been through already.
Terry: (I never realized that Candy had so many unhappy memories...What about me! What have I been doing all these years! Wasting my father's money! Doing nothing at all!)
Terry: (I won't let anyone hurt Candy anymore! Now, the only one who could protect her is me! I have to decide...Grandchester...I won't love a person like you did...)
Terry talked to Sister Gray and he said that he will leave the school as exchange for Candy's expulsion. That night, he went to where Candy was and stayed there all night.

The next day, Terry attended the morning mass wearing the full uniform for the first time. Everybody was talking about the incident last night, about Terry and Candy meeting at the stable.
When Terry saw Liza, he went straight to her and slapped her. Then walked away.
Terry: (This will be better for the two of us...I won't be coming to this small hill anymore...if I have to go, then, I must hurry...)
Stear: Could you give us a hand here?
Archie: What..?
Terry: It's nice to have met you and please don't worry about Candy anymore..
Stear: That's nice to hear.
Terry: (This is how my youth died...this is how my love died too...)
Candy reads Terry's letter.
"Candy...I am going to America to do what I've always wanted to do. Take care and I'll always pray for you. Terry."
Candy: Just this simple note...and he went away...
Candy tried to catch up...
Candy: (Terry, I don't want you to go...I don't want you to go anywhere...Terry, I want you to stay...Terry, I love you...)
Terry: (Candy, though I may not be with you, I'll always pray for your happiness...)
Candy: TERRY!!!
As Candy called out Terry's name, Terry kind of heard someone calling his name...
Terry: (No, it must be just my imagination...because this is where we first met, on board a ship...the ship's going far far away...from Candy...Candy...I'll pray for your happiness...one day, I swear...one day...)
Candy: (Both Terry and Albert are doing what they always wanted in their life...and I...I want to find myself too...and I will.)
Candy: (We'll see each other again...Terry...I know...I know that someday, we will be together again...)
