  1. to learn how to build Web pages using Word and Composer;
  2. to learn how to download, save, and edit a Web page template;
  3. to learn how to link pages and use directories;
  4. to learn how to find, save, and "re-use" images; 
  5. to learn how to publish a web page and its associated files using WS_FTP.

Note:  Since knowing UNIX  is NOT a necessary skill for teaching on the Web, we will have trainers and assistants in the lab to help you build a directory structure and set appropriate permissions.  If, however,  you want to learn how to do this on your own, you can follow the directions at: How To Set UNIX Commands.
