PROCEDURE

  1. Create a subdirectory in My Documents called ITS
  2. Open Basic Lecture Outline.
  3. Save in My Documents/ITS
  4. Take a toolbar tour
  5. A look at templates
  6. Work with Format-->Slide Color Scheme
  7. Edit text blocks in individual slides
  8. A look at font and font color
  9. Change Background by using View-->Master and inserting
  10. Insert clip art
  11. Insert images
  12. Insert a new slide
  13. Delete a slide
  14. Transitions (transition resistance)
  15. Change the Order in Slide Sorter (Cut/Paste) 
  16. Insert Slide Function

Note: We will be downloading and saving numerous files (PowerPoint presentations, as well as images, movies, and audio).  All files in this workshop are set up for automatic FTP download in your Netscape browser.  Simply click on the hyperlink, then, when Netscape locates the file, make certain you save it in your ITS subdirectory of My Documents.
