Specific Areas of Experience

Business.  Leader in strategic planning and market planning and in the implementation of strategic and tactical business plans through acquisitions, strategic alliances, and internal development. Conducted extensive in-house program for training managers and sales representatives in conceptual and strategic selling. Developed positioning for a variety of market segments (asbestos, underground storage tank, environmental audit, indoor air quality, industrial hygiene, air quality, municipal and industrial water and waste water, and remediation). Sold directly to federal government agencies, state and local agencies, commercial and industrial clients. Part of the team taking a major company public. Acquisition of four companies. Divestiture of two companies. Overseer of a computer center, supervisor of a product manufacturing company.

Technology. Involved in technical program management with increasing responsibility. Technically competent in many areas of the environment including air, water, hazardous waste, toxic substances, radon, PCB, asbestos, environmental audit, and indoor air quality. Totally up to date on all issues of biotechnology, information management

Teaching. Five years of experience teaching in the Graduate School of Management of Technology at the University of Maryland University College. Taught the entire biotechnology track, marketing and the capstone class for the Management & Technology program. Taught marketing and strategic planning in the Executive Program. Also taught continuing education classes at the University of Oklahoma, School of Public Health, the New Jersey Institute of Technology and the George Washington University.

For ten years manage all international activities especially in France (Ministere de l'Environment et du Cadre de Vie, Electricity de France), Germany (UmweltBundesant) and for supranational organizations (OECD).
