Assignment: Write a report about the progress of your class project. Use either memo or business letter format, depending on whether you are writing your report to an internal or external audience.
Organize your report as follows:
· An introduction that identifies your project, its purpose, and other special information
· A work completed section that describes work completed up to now
· A work in progress section that includes what you are currently working on
· A work remaining section that discusses what needs to be done yet
· An appraisal section describing outcomes. In this last section, include any problems or successes you have encountered. You can also include a graphic showing your progress on the project.
NOTE: Use these headings: Work Completed; Work in Progress; Work Remaining; and Appraisal.
Assignment length: minimum length single-spaced 1 page, 1.5 pages with graphic, double-spaced between paragraphs
Format: Submit the progress report in a Microsoft Word .doc or a .rtf format. If you have Adobe Acrobat, you can submit the assignment as a .pdf file. You can also submit the report as an .html file if you can submit it without losing the intended formatting of the document.
Submission: Post to the Submit Assignments area of the WebTycho menu as a file.
