Course Description:
CMST 386, The Internet: An Advanced Guide (3)
Prerequisites - CMST 385 or equivalent.
A study of modern methods for the design of Web sites. The focus is on
Web page design including features such as Cascading Style Sheets and
programming using JavaScript and PHP. Students will learn how the WWW is
moving toward XML and how to write XHTML compliant Web pages.
Assignments include publishing W3C validated Web pages.
Students may receive credit for
only one of the following courses: CAPP 386 or CMST 386.
