The Mechanics of Web Page Design: Improved Template

Though not a requirement in the specifications, every lead page or frame, as least, should include several additions to the minimum template. These additions either help you, item 1, or your viewers, items 2-5.

So here is the improved template:

Of course, variations are not only allowed, but encouraged. However, sticking close to this model is probably a good idea until you have a good feel for the process.
