You can create a free personal account in any EBSCOHOST database; this personal account allows you to save search results, persistent links to searches, search history and alerts, journal alerts and web pages to your personal area. All items are saved in a folder that only you can access.

To create a personal account, when you are in an EBSCOHOST database:

• Click on the Sign In link at the top of the screen.
  
   

• From the Sign In Screen, click on the I'm a new user link.
  
   
  

• You will retrieve the Create a New Account Screen with Personal Account entered in the Account Type field.
• Fill in the fields on the Create a New Account Screen. When you have completed the fields, click Submit.

When the information you enter is accepted, a message appears that provides your user name and password. Click OK. You will be automatically logged in as a personal user. You should note the user name and password you created so you can log in at a future session.

Once you have created the account in any EBSCOHOST database, your login information works in all other EBSCOHOST databases.

After creating an account, when you want to save your search results:

• Sign in to your EBSCOHOST account by clicking on the Sign In link.
• Enter your login information.
• After conducting your search, click on the Add link next to any article you want to save in your personal folder.
  
  

You can retrieve these articles in any future session by signing into EBSCOHOST and clicking on Folder at the top of the screen or the Folder has items icon just above the results list.
